Its says 3.6 Mbit/s = 384 Kbyte/s
3 Mbit = 3000 Kbits = 0,29 Mbyte/s = 290 Kbyte/s

Remember this is how fast you download

The speed can decrease if you are very far from the "internet Station".
In sweden there is a company called BBB
if you are with in 5000 meters you'll get around 80-100% of the speed over that to 7000 meters you'll have 50% and over 7000 meters you'll get 0-40%

Anyway.. Speed test just check you "BIT" speed not how fast you download..

My download speed is 30-150 kbytes/s but that depends on my signal and how far I am from the telephone tower/Radio Tower...

Alex, wrong wrong wrong! Look at my speed, then look at yours! You got 383 kb/s (0.3mbit/s), I got 6467 kb/s (6.4 mbit/s), I have look it on many sites now so.

And Alex, you have 3G and you will NEVER get the right speed. Rille got the same as you, and he don't get the right speed. Btw, it dosen't matter now so, we will get faster internet then both you and me gots right now! We will move soon!

Korgath you still don't get it do you.. You can't test against a server what you speed is..
The that formula I wrote

You will get your maximum download speed and it won't go over it..
may be for a second but not long..

take your "speedtest" result for example

at that time you would have this download/upload speed (free)

Fisk, I get it, but I think that you don't.
If I have 24 mbit/s then my internet are much faster then it's now, if I can't test my speed then, why have you done it to? You can test it, because I know many (you know how many to) that know much more then us on computers and internet connection.
You can download to MAX, BUT, they have fix so you just can download in a speed limit, you can't download to max. When I was in Nikkehs house, he gots 10 mbit/s down, up dunno, and I uploaded in about 10 mbit/s, but when I downloaded with µtorrent, then I just got 1 or 2 mbit/s (don't remeber it), because they have set it, so you can't download on max speed!

Oh yeah, I forgot, it only shows it for you, because you don't got MBIT/S, you got kb/s, not more, and you know it to!

If you are an encoder and know what you are talking about, then WHY are you still talking about it?! Where are you trying to come with this? I know what I'm talking about, I have had internet in many years now! It was the same when I was downloading from a friend that got 100/100 mbit/s, and I downloaded in 1mbit/s in my house.

tip if you got 8 Mbps (8 Mbit/s) (and that what I think you have!
you can just turn of all connections in the house and do the forumla
8000/9.375 and test with download 10 torrents and se if your answer was right (and it will) tip: take 10 torrents with more then 3000 seeders
